(NB. Membership fees incorporate the Welsh Athletics registration fee eg. £19.50 seniors & £12 juniors, which is forwarded on your behalf to cover third party insurance etc. Any concessionary discount applies only to the club portion of the fee. New members joining before 1st April will not be required to pay the Welsh registration fee again at this point).
NB. Data Protection : Your personal membership data will be provided to Welsh Athletics who will invite you to access and update your MyATHLETICS on-line portal. Your personal data (name, gender, age category) will also be provided to leagues for competitive athletics (Border, Cheshire, Northern, North Staffs, North Wales & Youth leagues) and used by the club for communication purposes eg. Club newsletters.
Please note that 2nd Claim, Social Road Athlete and Social memberships do not include the WA registration fee.
Competition Anti-Doping
All
entrants shall be deemed to have made him/herself familiar with, and agreed to
be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK
Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.
The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants
participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of
entry], whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.

GDPR statement
In order to run the Wrexham AAC to update records and provide results, personal data of its participants (name, gender and date of birth. Email address) is required. Data collected from Wrexham AAC is held on Nifty, Welsh Athletic Portal and in a database in a password file. Its usage is limited to the following functions:
1. The production of Wrexham AAC results and records
2. The production of Cheshire, Northern and YDL league entries
3. The production of Borders League and North Wales XC entries
4. The validation of current registrations
5. The production of the news letter and information provided to the Newspaper as required
6. Maintenance of historic records (e.g. race results from bygone seasons)
7. Notifying members of any important information (this can also be done by WA portal)
No more data is held than is necessary to discharge the above functions without undue difficulty.
